Leave Hanoi in the early morning to take a bus along the new Hanoi-Sapa road. In just 5 hours, you will reach Lao Cai and meet your guide.
Enjoy lunch upon arrival in Hanoi and then transfer to the start of your first trek. Enjoy the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces as you make your way to Giang Ta Chai village.
Your homestay host will put on a party in the evening to introduce you to the village! Enjoy music, wine and a traditional BBQ before settling down for a quiet night’s sleep.
Wake early to a home-cooked breakfast, before saying goodbye to your host family and heading back into Sapa town.
Your first stop of the day is to visit the Black H’mong village of Cat Cat. Here you’ll take a walk into the mountains to visit a waterfall with a local guide.
Have lunch back in Sapa and then spend the rest of the afternoon exploring town, where you can rent a scooter or get a traditional Red Dzao herbal foot bath!
Spend the night in your Sapa hotel and explore the bustling town by night.
Have breakfast at hotel and then head straight out to Ham Rong mountain, also known as Dragon Jaw mountain. The scenery along the way is stunning and you’ll have the chance to stop and take photos.
You’ll also see the Orchid flower garden and look over Sapa town from above.
After lunch, enjoy your last few hours in Sapa before your bus to Lao Cai train station.
Have Dinner at Nhat Linh restaurant before getting on the night train to go back to Ha Noi.
If you’d rather spend both nights in Sapa in a local homestay, then take a look at our Sapa culture and trekking tour with the H’mong.
